Special educational projects in Palestine may, from time to time, receive Jerusalem Fund grants. In 2000, grants included support for the publication of two books and for two conferences. These projects addressed the future of the Palestinian refugees, and Palestine and the Arab world. In 1999, The Jerusalem Fund awarded a special grant to the Archeology Department of al-Quds University in Jerusalem to purchase a collection of more than 200 rare and important reference works in history, archeology, and art history. These works were thereby preserved for future generations.

Special grants are directly funded by The Jerusalem Fund's endowment income.

Organizations or individuals wishing to apply for a special grant should submit a completed grant application.
